Snowboarding: Zoe Gillings ready for new season

"A lot of work has been done over the last six months between UK Sport and British Ski and Snowboard, for which I am extremely grateful."

Zoe Gillings will participate at the Austrian World Cup next month in Montafon. Last season, due to financial pressures, she couldn't train in the snow to its first race.By chance,  Zoe Gillings can enlist the help of a personal manager, a nutritionist and a physiotherapist. She says, "Even the best could win without the help of these people."

The first World Cup event of the season will be held in Austria on 6 December Followed by a second event in the USA the Following week.

Vivienne Westwood Explains Why She Turned To Punk

Very good, public, I hope you are enjoying this magical circus. Now comes the part of the truth. A story, a song, a dream, you call it whatever you want. To this, I just call it an inspiration.
I was 18 and my world was a source of ideas. In the most wonderful place in the Catalan coast, I met this man in the photo. I was there on holiday, inspired me  by my surroundings but with no idea of how all this would end. This man, a peasant Rastafarian, called Andreu, he's a smoking of marijuana, he's a believer of the purest religion (JAH), and he is the creator of the magical music. As I heard him play, I went with everything, and I went for the music. He is dj of reggae / ragga / dubstep / dancehall.
When he finished, I invited him for a drink at my table and, with great taste and heart, he accept it.
We talked about all the places he had been, things which he had done in his life and more.
I told him what was what brought me their music and then he laughed. I told him his music is an inspiration, from the first notes you dance and you just go with the rhythm and you cannot stop dancing, singing, and dreaming.

In short, his music was the muse of my circus.

DANCING SNAKES

I thank you all, ladies and gentlemen, the attention you're giving me. Now, I want to change some things of the history of this great circus, and go through other paths a little more moral.

While we acted in Thailand, we were lucky to visit many places there. Until the day we came to a small town where they told us that there, we would find many artists. So we ventured into the village until I stop walking, to hear better. I was listening to the sweet sound of a flute coming from a slightly lower streets. Without saying anything, I went to that music. I was totally mesmerized by this great tune ...
And when I arrived, I met a boy, about ten years. He was playing the flute to made snakes dance. I couldn't believe it. But yes, it was a child.
I asked him if I could do it and he said yes. I stood there and blow into the flute. Nothing. The snakes were not moving. Why? I tried again two or three times but the snakes didn't move. I asked him how he did. And.. ladies and gentlemen ... Do you know what he answered to me?

"You play for snakes. I play for me."

I asked him how he could do it. And here, he told me:

"It's easy ... You close your eyes and imagine a better world."

I did. And snakes danced.

THE BUTTERFLY CIRCUS

Well, now I'd like to show you this feature film, which is what inspired me to make this blog. Pay attention, and don't miss a minute of the video because it's really very nice.
This film helped me a lot when my world was falling apart. The people around me didn't know what to do to help me, and the truth is that I didn't want any help either.
But one day my brother, innocent of his actions, showed me this video. And since that day, I decided to look at it every time that reality deceives me.
And today I would like to share it with you, to see what you think.

A SIMPLE LIFE

Now, ladies and gentlemen, I will relate, exclusively for you, the story of this amazing cat called Pipo.
You will see that the story is nothing spectacular if you only hear it. But if you feel it and understand it, you will see that it goes far beyond words ... So, not to bore you with such explanation, I'll start at the beginning.
Pipo was born and grew up like any other cat, he always took the life of a single cat, very normal thing. He is the son of a cat called Naomie but unfortunately, the poor cat died very young. So Pipo was raised by his grandmother and his grandmother because today he is a very famous cat in the neighborhood. Don't think that he's a magic cat or something like that, uh, no, no. The thing is not going out there.
The real story is that there is no story. Pipo is my cat, and he lives, eats, sleeps and shits like any other cat. But that's why he's special.
The moral of this story is that one don't need to be known, or famous, or know something better than anyone, or anything for being special. Don't forget. Never.

THE CIRCUS OF BUTTERFLIES

-Guys, come .. Look at this, in the eye of the butterfly. See? What do you think? What do you see in it?

But no one answered, so she continued her story.

 -Well, I will relate you her story, which I have seen through her eye.
Her name is Freedom and she was born closed in a jar. But they took care of her, don't worry. And then she grew and became what she is now. Upon conversion, the smallest of humans caught her with one hand, pulled it out of the jar and exposed his hand in the air. And he opened it. Freedom, scared, she didn't move, but slowly, she opened one eye and then the other. And in that moment ... she was reborn.
From a flight, she rose and went. She never seen them again.
One day, I was taking photos when suddenly, this beautiful butterfly landed in front of me. Then I put my camera at her and I approached, more and more, but she didn't move, she looked at me, but she wasn't afraid. I took the shot, and she left.
