THE INDEPENDENT

Congo is a very special place. Although people are poor, everyone smiles. They are known to all and are happy with who they are and what they have. Clearly they would like to have more, but they don't ask for it. They simply take advantage of a new day.

There, we were welcomed great, everyone was very pleased with our visit. We decided to make a show to thank them and they loved it!

A young boy named Kami  made us visit some unexpected places. One is a valley called "Opportunity". In the middle of the valley there is a small house made ​​of wood and next to it, there's a mini skateparc. We were so surprised that we couldn't move for long minutes.

The young man who lives in this wonderful place is called Lebo. Everyone knows him more as "the independent".

They told us that he is never seen around town, he stays at home because he doesn't want to see the world as it is. We come and we could talk to him.

Lebo dreams of being recognized the best skater in the Congo but in this site, almost everything is impossible, resources are too scarce. Lebo has used the same skateboard all his life. It is in very bad shape, but he use it.

We had the opportunity to do a photo shoot and, in return, I decided to give him my only skateboard.

MORALITY OF LIFE

Now, viewers, I'll teach you how to live life. Thanks to all of our trips, all those people that we know, we understand the true meaning of living life.

Dance as if others were blind.

Love them as if we were all more than just brothers.

In life you can't always be happy never,, nor entirely. Therefore, you must learn to forget the bitterness, fear and pride.

We spend our lives waiting for something, or everything. We always think that everything will come to us, we will find what we were looking for.
What we can't understand is that while we wait, all that happens is life. We just need to close our eyes, start dreaming and enjoy while we can.

Because while we wait, time passes, life goes on and never stops.
